Our story · Wausau, Wisconsin
Welcome to
The Driven Gym.
We’re Dan and Senica. What started as a friendship and a dream became The Driven Gym—a place for serious training, good people, and a stronger community. We’re glad you’re here.
Wausau, Wisconsin
How it started
A teenage dream.
A well-timed text.
Dan’s work in fitness began with coaching people in person. That grew into online coaching, where Dan and his team have helped hundreds of clients across 28 states and three countries. The reach changed, but the reason for doing it stayed the same: helping people build a physique, confidence, and a life they feel good about.
Owning a gym had been a dream since he was a teenager. Then Senica sent a text: he had already put in an offer on Anabolic Fitness. That conversation turned into a plan—and, in less than two weeks, the two friends became gym co-owners.
The Driven Gym is the next chapter at that familiar Wausau location. We’re bringing our own energy and vision to it while appreciating the people who already make this place part of their lives.
Dan and Senica met at Franck’s Gym, where they’re still members. Both have a great deal of respect for Bryan, the owner, and for the local fitness community that brought them together.
Meet the owners
Two friends.
One shared vision.
Different paths brought us here. A love of training—and the people it brings together—is what we share.

Coaching.
Strength.
Physique.
Dan brings a coaching perspective to the gym: progress is personal, and the people doing the work matter. His experience with both in-person and online clients has shaped how he approaches training, aesthetics, and the community he wants to build here.
For him, this is a chance to turn a long-held dream into a place where people can show up, work hard, and feel at home.

Senica
Business.
Endurance.
Community.
Senica grew up in the area. He owns Senica Insurance in Stevens Point, works as an insurance agent and broker, and is also involved in commercial real estate.
He’s explored plenty of sides of fitness—including long-distance running simply for the fun of it. More recently, he’s shifted his focus toward aesthetics with Dan. That range of experience gives him an appreciation for the different reasons people walk into a gym.
Our equipment philosophy
Every piece.
A purpose.
Our equipment philosophy is simple: every piece has to earn its place through how it performs. We choose each one for the muscle it trains, the movement it supports, and how it feels to use. Matching brands, colors, or styles won’t decide what goes on the floor.
A matching lineup from one manufacturer doesn’t automatically give you the best piece for every muscle group. We look for strong options from different brands, including newer equipment and old-school machines with plenty to offer. The question behind each addition is simple: what does this do for the person training on it?
Dan has traveled to some of the best gyms across the country. The atmosphere, the people, and the pieces that made training there feel different have stayed with him. He wants to bring that energy—and the equipment that stood out—to Wausau, introducing training options people haven’t had access to locally and giving members more useful ways to train.
What matters here
Come as you are.
Put in the work.
You don’t need to look a certain way, wear a certain thing, or already know everything to belong here. We care about the person who shows up, not the image they fit. There’s room for you here.
We love strength and physique training: getting stronger, looking good, and feeling good. When you look good, you feel good. It can be that simple. Loud music, owners you’ll see around the gym, and people putting in the work are part of the atmosphere we want to build. Bring your goals and your own starting point. You can train seriously without feeling judged.
Looking ahead
This is just
the beginning.
We don’t see the current location as our forever home. When the timing is right, we hope to grow into a bigger Wausau facility with room for a wider range of equipment, more ways to train, and the atmosphere Dan has experienced in gyms around the country.
A dedicated posing room and a strong team of trainers are part of that larger vision. At its center is a training floor built piece by piece: equipment chosen for specific muscles and movements, with useful options from different manufacturers. We want that variety to give people more reasons to enjoy training and more ways to make progress.
These are future goals. Right now, we’re focused on improving what we have, listening to the people who train here, and choosing the next steps carefully. We’re excited about what this place can become—and grateful to everyone helping us get started.
